Olive Garden Copycat: Five Cheese Ziti Al Forno

I have loved Olive Garden for as long as I can remember. Any place that is known for serving all kinds of different pasta dishes has my heart.

So, why not save some money and make one of my favorite dishes at home?! Now I just need to figure out how to make the breadsticks and their salad and I will have their full meal!

Note: my cheese measurements are just estimates. I love a good amount of cheese so you can add less or more based on your own preference.

Five Cheese Ziti Al Forno Recipe

  • 1 box of ziti pasta
  • 1 jar of alfredo sauce (15 oz)
  • 1 jar of marinara sauce (24 oz)
  • 2 cups of Mozzarella Cheese
  • ¼ cup of Fontina cheese
  • 1 cup of Parmesan Cheese
  • ½ cup of Ricotta Cheese (8 tablespoons)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Extra toppings: breadcrumbs and/or parsley

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees & grease your casserole dish so everything doesn’t stick to it (I used a 4 qt casserole dish)
  • Cook pasta al dente
  • Heat a medium size stock pot over medium-high heat, add in Alfredo sauce, marinara sauce, half of your mozzarella cheese, all of your fontina cheese, half of your Parmesan and all of your ricotta (salt and pepper to taste)
  • Once cheese mixture is bubbling, add in the pasta and stir until it is fully coated
  • Transfer pasta mixture to casserole dish and top with the rest of your mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
  • Bake for 20 minutes or until cheese on the top is to your liking.

Enjoy your dinner & let me know how you switch it up to make it your own!
